Elizabeth Morris and Hugh Brent were married on 30 September 1726 in Lancaster County, Virginia.2 She died about 1770.3
Elizabeth was the executrix of the will of her husband Hugh Brent 26 October 1748 Lancaster County, Virginia.4 She signed a will on 24 November 1762 in Lancaster County, Virginia. In the name of God, Amen I Elizabeth Brent of the Parish of Christ Church & County of Lancaster being sick in Body but in perfect sense & Memory do make & Order this my Last Will & Testament in manner & form as Followath, first I Commit my Body to the earth from whence it came & my Soul into the Hands of almighty God hoping to find Forgiveness for all my sins and as to what Worldly Estate it hath pleased Almighty God to b__ me with I give & bequeath in Manner & form as Followeth.
I give and bequeath to my loving Daughter Anne Brent all my Estate of what kind soever to her & her Heirs forever My Desire is that my Estate as __ not be appraided & likewise appoint my Neighbor Hugh Brent whole and Sole Executor of this my last Will & Testament To witness whereof I have set my Hand & Seal this 24th day of November 1762.

Biography

Anne Newsum and Jesse Chilton were married on 19 November 1767 in Lancaster County, Virginia.2,3
She and her sister inherited property from her father Robert Newsum because he had no sons.4 Jesse and Anne deeded property to William Chilton on 18 December 1770 in Lancaster County, Virginia. This land had been inherited by Anne Newsum and her sister Jemima from their father Robert Newsum jr. who died "without male heir". Robert Newsum jr. had inherited the property from his father Robert Newsum. Jemima and her husband Edward Blakemore still held her portion of the property4 Jesse and Anne were deeded back the property by William on 20 March 1771 in Lancaster County, Virginia.5 Jesse and Anne deeded their property which Ann had inherited from her father to their son Jesse jr on 16 September 1784 in Lancester County, Virginia.5

Catherine Newton and Thomas Martin were married.2,1 She and James Brent were married on 26 July 1727 in Lancaster County, Virginia.1,3 She died about 1761.4
Catherine was the executrix of the will of her husband James Brent 19 April 1750 Lancaster County, Virginia. His widow, Catherine Newton, was named sole executrix and was directed by the will to divide the estate among his children upon her remarriage or death. The children were not named in the will.5 She signed a will on 6 September 1760 in Lancaster County, Virginia.4 She had an estate probated on 20 February 1761 in Lancaster County, Virginia.4
