My Cochran and Shroyer family lines were all in Ohio in the nineteenth century. Click on the surnames at the bottom of this page for a summary of my eight main family lines.
My maternal Cochran families include Cochran, Bozman, Bricker, Royston, Brent, Whipple, Hughes, Gates, and Weeks. Most of these families settled Morgan, Muskingum, and Washington Counties in southeastern Ohio.
My paternal Shroyer families include Shroyer, Fiddler, Scott, Johnston, Bortner, Stacy, Bonner, and Croft. Most of these families lived in Wood, Stark, Mahoning, Columbiana, and Crawford Counties in northern Ohio.
