Johann Simon Schreyer and his family immigrated from Rappenau, Baden to Pennsylvania in 1752. They settled in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and some family later moved to Northumberland County. One of Simon's grandsons, Leonard Shroyer, moved to Stark County, Ohio and later moved with some of his children to Crawford County, Ohio and Wood County, Ohio.
