Biography
Judith was listed as the wifow in the will of Brereton Kenner 22 September 1758 Northumberland County, Virginia.6 Hugh and Judith signed a prenuptial agreement 10 January 1766, in Northumberland County, Virginia.4 She was deeded three slaves by her husband Hugh in a deed of gift signed in Lancaster County, Virginia, on 29 September 1772. three slaves7 She signed a deed of settlement quit claiming the estate of her first husband to her daughter Mary Kenner, Mary's husband Thomas Rowland, Judith's youngest daughter Elizabeth, and Elizabeh's guardian Edwin Conway in Lancaster County, Virginia, on 29 September 1772. It was also agreed Judith had performed her duty well as executrix of Brereton's estate.5 Judith was listed as the wifow in the will of Hugh Brent 27 January 1778 Christ Church Parish, Lancaster County, Virginia.8

Judith Nutt1

Biography
Judith Nutt and Jesse Chilton were married on 22 December 1796 in Lancaster County, Virginia.1,2 She was involved in a court case concerning Judith's inheritance from her father's will to 1802 in Northumberland County, Virginia. Judith's father Mosely willed a slave, Job, to his son William. William was to have Job valued and was to give one third to his brother Walter and one third to Judith. She was also to receive one fifth of the value of the year's crops and also cash that was willed to her. They were suing for these amounts.2
