The writer or editor apparently confused this Sarah, widow of William Ulis, with her probable mother Martha. All the information in the county history fits Sarah as does marriage and census data4 Phillip and Sarah appeared on the 1860 US Census recorded on 8 August 1860 in Pike Township, Stark County, Ohio, with David, Eliza, Eli, and Mary. and Eliza A. Yant. Eli Yant and Mary were listed immediately after this household6 She was involved in a court case suing her husband's heirs for her dower rights on 29 March 1867 in Stark County, Ohio.7
