Samuel Farra was born about 16 November 1774.1 He and Rosanna Bricker were married on 7 October 1839 in Muskingum County, Ohio. He died on 29 April 1851.1
Samuel was head of household on the 1820 US Census taken in Bloom Township, Morgan County, Ohio. The household consisted of with one male under ten, three males ten to sixteen, one male 45 or older, one female ten to sixteen, one female sixteen to twenty, two females 16 to 26, one female 26 to 45.2 Samuel was head of household on the 1830 US Census taken in Bloom Township, Morgan County, Ohio. The household consisted of with two males ten to fifteen, two males fifteen to twenty, two males twenty to thirty, one male fifty to sixty, one female ten to fifteen, one female twenty to thirty and one female fifty to sixty.3 Samuel was head of household on the 1840 US Census taken in Bloom Township, Morgan County, Ohio. The household consisted of with 2 males 20 to 30, 1 male 60 to 70, 1 male 70 to 80, 2 females 20 to 30, and 1 female 40 to 50.4 He was a farmer in 1850.5 Samuel and Rosanna appeared on the 1850 US Census recorded on 7 October 1850 in Bloom Township, Morgan County, Ohio.5 He signed a will on 16 January 1851 in Morgan County, Ohio.6
