Jacob Straw and Maria Catharina were married.3,4 He died in 1808 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.5 Jacob Straw was also known as Jacob Stroh.3 He was possibly born in December 1727 in Wolfskirchen, Nassau-Saarwerden.6 He immigrated in October 1754 to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. on the ship Halifax and took Oath in Philadelphia on 22 October7,8 He a signer of the Fort Allen Petition in 1774.9 He was a baptismal sponsor for several children between 1774 and 1801 at Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, .10,11 He were sponsors at the baptism of Eva Margaretha Rau daughter of Georg and Catharina Rau in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, on 25 September 1774.12 He sponsors at the baptism of Joh.
