This was the property where Gerhard and Levi were currently living4 He was a farmer in 1850.5 Levi and Mary appeared on the 1850 US Census recorded on 31 August 1850 in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, with Henry, Susah, Elizabeth, Lucetta, Uriah, Rebecca, Sarah, Mary, Elene, Alexander, Maria, and Matilda.5
