Wright O. Stacy
The State of Ohio Wood County Record of proceedings had by and before the Probate Court of Wood County, Ohio in relation to the last will and testament of Wright O. Stacy late of this county deceased, at a session of said court begun and held at the court house in Bowling Green in said county on the 14ö day of November 1891 on which day the following order was made and entered on the journal of said court to wit:
In the matter of the last will and testament of Wright O. Stacy decd. Probate Court Wood County November 14, 1891 . The last will and testament of Wright O. Stacy decd of Center Township this county deceased was this day presented to the court for Probate and recorded and at the same time the widow of said decedent and all the next of kid appeared in open court and waived further notice and each gave their consent for the Probate of said will. Thereupon John L. Underwood and Augustus Van Vorhis subscribing witnesses to said will appeared in open court and were duly sworn and examined according to law and their testimony thereon was reduced to writing and filed with said will. And it appearing to the court from the testimony so taken that the said will was duly executed and attested and that at the time of executing the same the testator was of full age and of sound mind and memory, and not under any restrain, the court now admit the said will to Probate, and order the same together with the testimony so taken to be recorded according to the statute in such cases made and provided.

Said will is in the words and figures following to wit: Know all men by these presents: That I Wright O. Stacy of Center Township Wood County, Ohio do make and publish this my last will and testament.
Item 1 - It is my will and I hereby direct that all my just (sic) shall be paid as soon after my decease as shall be compatible with a just and economical administration of my estate. And I direct that my grave shall be marked by head and foot stones at a cost not exceeding thirty $30.00 dollars.
Item 2. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Sarah P. Stacy in lieu of her dower and Statutory rights the use and control of all my property both real and personal for and during her natural lifetime or until she shall again intermarry.
Item e After the death or remarriage of my said wife it is my wish that all my property shall then be equally divided among all my children share and share alike. And in case any of my children shall at that time be dead leaving issue living then such living issue shall take the share of deceased child.
Item 3 I desire that no appraisment and no sale of my personalty (sic) and I hereby request the Probate Judge to direct the omission of the same in accordance with the Statute.
In testimony hereof I here unto set my hand and seal this 7 day of April A.D. 1884.

Personally appeared in open court John L. Underwood and Augustus Van Vorhis the subscribing witnesses to the last will and testament of Wright O. Stacy late of Center Township in said Wood Court deceased, who being duly sworn according to law to speak the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth in relation to the execution of said depose and say: That the paper before them bearing date the 7 day of April A.D. 1889 purporting to be the last will and testament of Wright O. Stacy now deceased, is the will of said deceased. That they were present at the execution of said will and at the request of the testator, respectively subscribed their names to the same as witnesses in his presence; that they saw the said Wright O. Stacy deceased sign and seal said will and heard him acknowledge the same to be his last will and testament and that the said Wright O. Stacy at the time of making, signing and sealing said will, was of full age of sound mind and memory and not under any restraint.
