Flying Artillery
S. W. P. Cochran, formerly of Zanesville, now Mayor of Aberdeen, Brown county Ohio, opposite Maysville, Ky., we are informed by one of our citizens, went to Columbus yesterday, with 25 picked men, as a flying Artillery company. The smallest of the twenty-five men measures six feet three inches, all well drilled in exercises of Flying Artillery service.
What is gratifying to us is that Mr. Cochran is an old Printer, and has been a life long Democrat, and in the last campaign was a Breckinridge man. To his credit, be it known, that he is not now a friend of the Ex-Vice President.
