Cochran-Brent
Two of McConneslville’s Best
Known Young People Quietly Married
Off For Their Honey Moon
Miss Maude C. Brent, daughter of Postmaster C. R. Brent, and Mr. F. Wayland Cochran, one of the proprietors of the Cochran Bros. Tobacco Factory, were quietly married Tuesday evening.
The ceremony took place at the home of the bride’s parents, about eight thirty o’clock, Rev. T. B. Roberts officiating. Only the immediate relatives of the bride and groom were present.
Mr. and Mrs. Cochran left on the Wednesday morning train for Cleveland, where they will spend their honey moon with Mr. J. C. Whipple and family and with other friends.
Mr. Cochran is a member of one of McConnelsville’s most prominent families and is one of McConneslville’s prominent business men, the manager of the large Cochran Tobacco Works, and has been identified always with the best interests of the village.
The bride has for years been the assistant postmistress, and by reason of her social qualities, her church relations, and her genuine womanly worth, has hosts of friends.
Showers of congratulations will be ready for Mr. and Mrs. Cochran on their return to make their home here.
