Henry and Rosetta appeared on the 1880 US Census recorded on 7 June 1880 in Bacon, Charlotte County, Virginia, with their children George, Rose, and Henry and a 12 year old maid Mary Sydnor. The daughter Rose may be an error. There was a son Elmer born in 1877 and he is not on this census6 Rosetta appeared on the 1900 US Census recorded on 2 June 1900 in Bacon, Charlotte County, Virginia, with her children Elmer and Annie. This household was recorded right above the household of Rosetta's son George2
