Biography

Joseph Bonner was born in 1752 in Pennsylvania.1 He was married. He died in November 1828, at age ~76.1
Joseph served as a private in Colonel Butler's Ninth Pennsylvania Regiment in Captain Nelson's, Captain Grant's and Captain Davis's companies. His enlisted date is not known, but years of service included between 1777 and 1778: Joseph was in the battle of Brandywine on 11 September 1777:2 Joseph was in the battle of Georgetown on 4 October 1777:2 Joseph was head of household on the 1820 US Census taken in Monongalia County, Virginia.3 He had an estate probated in November 1828 in Monongalia County, Virginia.4 He signed a will on 10 November 1828 in Monongalia County, Virginia.4
