John Kelly will
Brooke County, West Virginia Will Book 3:15. Written 23 March 1830 and admitted to record 24 March 1830.
I John Kelly in Brook County and State of Virginia being weak of body but of sound mind and memory but being convinced of the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death feel disposed to will and bequeath such worldly property as it has pleased God to bless me with I the manner following viz. To my beloved wife Mary Kelly I will and bequeath all my real and personal estate of whatsoever kind it may be. Secondly at the death of my wife I will and bequeath all the residue of property if any should be left to Thomas and Elizabeth Kelly my brother and his wife. Thirdly the above property left to Thomas Kelly and Elizabeth Kelly his wife at the death of the aforesaid Mary Kelly my wife shall be left to Elizabeth Richardson a niece to my beloved wife Mary Kelly at the death of Thomas Kelly and Elizabeth his wife.
Fourthly I appoint Edward Smith my sole executor to see that this my last will and Testament is duly executed March twenty third A.D. 1830.
