James T. Brady
Although James T. Brady is now a resident of Noble Township, he was so long identified with the citizens of Liberty Township that a sketch of his life properly belongs with the latter township’s biographies. Mr. Brady was born in Wabash County, Ind., March 20, 1845; his parents, William and Francis (Jane) Brady, were natives of Ohio and Pennsylvania respectively. Young James was a studious pupil in the common and select schools, in the vicinity of his home, and obtained a good education, which enabled him to follow the profession of school teaching during a period of fifteen years. The events of his marriage with Ella P. Reeve, occurred April 15, 1851. Early in life Mr. Brady began the occupation of farming, which he continued, when not engaged in school work, until moving to Wabash City in 1883. He is associated with Warren Bigler in the law and abstract business. The firm of Bigler & Brady, have the only complete set of abstract books in Wabash County, and prepare a neat, reliable and complete abstract of title at reasonable rates.
