Dear Sister and folks at home
I think it is about time I was thanking you for the hood, saque & shoes you sent the baby about 3 months ago and here has hardly been a day since that Edna did not ask me when I was going to write home.
Enclosed you will find a picture of Velma taken when she was 5 weeks old and as soon as she is large enough to a have a good one taken I will send it home.
I have been in San Diego since last Fall and I am working in a commission house and like the work very much.
I saw the Herald a few days ago and see by it that Mother has been quite sick. Hope she is better by this time and that you are all well.
