Deed Thomas Stacy to Robert R. Livingston
Know all men by these presents that we Thomas Stacy and Mary Stacy wife of the County of Mahoning State of Ohio in consideration of the sum four hundred dollars in hand paid by Robert R. Livingston of the same place have bargained sold, and do hereby grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said Robert R. Livingston his heirs and assigns forever the following premises situate in the County of Wood State of Ohio and _____ and described as follows. Sixty acres of land off the west half of a quarter section of land described in the original U. States patent as follows “ The south east quarter of section _________in Township five noth of Range eleven in district of lands subject to ____ Bucyrus Ohio” the said sixty acres to have for its western boundary twenty acrea along with eighty acres still west of said twenty deeded to Thomas Nelson by said Thomas Stacy in A.D. 1848. The said twenty acres of land off the west side of the above described quarter section. Also another lot of land lying north and adjoining the before described lot of land: and is described in the original United States Patent as follows “The south west quarter of the north east quarter of section thirty three in Township five north of range eleven in the district of lands subject to sale at Bucyrus Ohio containing forty acres”. The two lots together making one hundred acres of land be the same more or less. To have and to hold said premises with the appurtenances unto the said Robert R. Livingston, his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Thomas Stacy for himself and heirs doth hereby covenant with said Robert R. Livingston his heirs and assigns that he is lawfully seized of the premises aforesaid that the premises are free and clear from all encumbrances whatsoever and that he will forever warrant and defend the same with the appurtenances unto the said Robert R. Livingston his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever. In testimony whereof the said Thomas Stacy and Mary Stacy have hereunto set their hands and seals this 20th day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forth eight.

The State of Ohio Mahoning County ss: Before me Thomas Frame a Justice of the Peace in and for said county personally appeared the above named Thomas Stacy and Mary his wife and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the foregoing conveyance to be their voluntary act and deed: and the said Mary being at the same time examined by me separate and apart from her said husband and the contents of said ([ITAL:]copy repeats words here[:ITAL])conveyance made known to her by me, she then declared that she did voluntarily sign, seal and acknowledge the same, and that she is still satisfied this 20th day of May A.D. 1848.
