In the name of God amen, This twentyfirst day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety five, I David Bricker of South Huntington Township County of Westmoreland and State of Pennsylvania being in a weak low state of body but blessed be God of perfect mind and memory calling to mind the mortality of the body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, I do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say principally and first of all I recommend my soul into the hand of almighty God who gave it and my body to be buried in a decent and Christian manner not doubting but at the general Resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such worldly estate it has pleased God to bless me with, I do give devise and dispose of it in the following manner. I do give and bequeath to Susannah my well beloved wife all my household furniture likewise the wheat in the barn for bread and the corn in the ground and likewise the field now in corn to put in fall crop and one cow her choice one stack of hay and one of oats and her choice of two hogs for meat and all the flax and wool belonging to me and the third part of the remainder of my Estate and the remaining two parts to my two children Katharine and Rosanna to each an equal part and do nominate and appoint Luis Caster and Garret Kemp executors of this my last will Testament making null and void wills testaments or executors by me at any time before made named or appointed Ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the date before written.
