Know all men by these presents that we Philip Shroyer and Salima Shroyer of wife of said Philip Shroyer of the County of Wood Ohio in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars in hand paid by Daniel Shroyer of the same place have bargained and sold and do hereby grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Daniel Shroyer his heirs and assigns forever the following premises situate in the county of Wood in the State of Ohio and the Township of Portage. And bounded and described as follows half of the west half of the southeast quarter of section two township four north of range eleven beginning at the center of section running east eighty rods thence south eighty rods thence west eighty rods thence north eighty rods to the place of beginning to have and to hold said premises with the appurtenances unto the said Daniel Shroyer his heirs and assigns forever and the said Philip Shroyer for himself and heirs doth hereby covenant with the said Daniel Shroyer his heirs and assigns that he is lawfully seized of the premises aforesaid that the premises are free and clear from all encumbrances whatsoever and that he will forever warrant and defend the same with the appurtenances unto the said Daniel Shroyer his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever. In testimony wereof the said Philip Shroyer and Salima Shroyer have hereunto set their hands and seals this 5th day of March AD 1852.

The State of Ohio Wood Count ss; Before me W. R. Bryant a Justice of the Peace in and for saild Co. personally appeared the within named Philip Shroyer and Selima Shroyer his wife and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the within conveyance to be their voluntary act and deed. And the said Salima Shroyer being at the same time examined by me separate and apart from her said husband and the contents of said instrument made known to her by me she then declared that she did voluntarily sign seal and acknowledge the same and that she is still satisfied herewith this 5th day of March A.D. 1852.
