Last Rites for Samuel Cochran
Last rites for Samuel, 70, of the Palace hotel, will be held at 10:30 o’clock Saturday morning at the Dean-Swope funeral home with Rev. James H. Kinney, retired Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
Mr. Cochran died early Thursday morning at Bethesda hospital where he was taken Tuesday after suffering a stroke on Main street.
He had lived in Zanesville for the past 15 years. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American war and was a member of Co. E 31st U.S. Volunteers, and Camp No. 67, Department of Ohio.
As there are no known survivors, funeral arrangements are made by Camp No. 67, Spanish American War veterans.
The body will remain at the funeral home.
