In the name of God amen I Brereton Kenner of Northd County Virginia being sick & weak of body but of perfect mind & memory thanks be to God do make and Ordain this to be my last will & Testamt in manner and form following, Impriniss I commend to soul to God who gave it and my body to the Earth to be decently buried at the desire ___ of my Exors hereof so named as for my temporal Estate wherewith it has pleased God to bestow on me I give & dispose in the following manner – Item I Give & bequeath unto my Loving wife Judith Kenner the use of one half of my negroes during her natural life & after her death to be divided amongst all my children, I also give unto my loving wife Judith Kenner one half of all my Stock of horses Cattle Sheep & hogs my Chaise & all my other movable Estate negroes Excepted to her & her heirs forever, Item I give unto my daughters Mary & Betty & the Child my wife now goes with all the rest of my negroes Equally to be divided amongst them it is my will & Desire that my negro wench molly & her tow Children Rodsy & Frank with their future increase be in the part of negroes I have given unto my children Lastly I do appoint my good friends Cap Willoughby my father Winder Kenner my friends Saml Blackwill Jno Blackwell & my brother Winder Kenner to be my Exors of this my last will &: Testamt I have hereunto set my hand & seal this 22d September 1758

County this 10th day of September 1759 This last will and Testamt of Brereton Kenner deced was this day presented in Court by Judith Kenner & the sane being proved by the oaths of Thos Smith & Spencer Pickren Witnesses thereto was Orderd to be recorded and on the motion of the said Judith Kenner who made Oath according to law a Certificate is granted her for obtaining Letters of administration with the will anexdon the said dcesds Estate in dur form
