In the Name of God amen I James Brent of the County of Lancaster and parish of Christ Church being very sick & weak of Body but of perfect sense & memory do make & constitute this my Last Will & Testament in manner & form as followeth. Imprimis I bequeath my sould to Almighty God who gave it me hoping through the c____ of my blessed Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ to receive pardon for my sins. Item it is my Desire that my body be decently interred at the Discretion of my Executrix hereafter named. Item I lend unto my loving Wife Katharine Brent the use of all my Estate both real & personal during her Widowhood. Item It is my desire that my wife Katharine Brent at her intermarriage or Decease deposes of my Estate among my children as she things proper Item I so appoint my loving wife Katharine Brent whole & sole Executrix of this my last will & Testament Item It is my desire that my friends ___ Tohely Towles Ball and _____ Smith be aiding and assisting my sd wife in the management of my Estate Item I do hereby revoke & disannul all former wills by me made Y have hereunto set my hand & affixed my Seal this 19th Day of April anno Domini 1750
