Will of Samuel Farra Dec.
"I Samuel Farry of the County of Morgan in the State of Ohio, do make
and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form
following that is today.
First, it is my will that my funeral expenses and all my just debts be
fully paid.
Second, I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Rosanna Farra,
in lieu of her dower, the plantation on which we now reside, situated
in the Township of Bloom County of Morgan and State of Ohio containing
about ninety seven acres, during her natural life if she remains my
widow; and all the live stock, horses, cows, sheep, hogs 46, by me now
owned and kept there on, also are the household furniture, and other
items not particularly named and otherwise disposed of in this will,
during her natural life, or widowhood as aforesiad. She however first
disposing of a sufficienty there of to pay my just debts as aforsaid.
Once that at the death or termination of widowhood, of my said wife,
all the property hereby devises or bequeathes to her as aforesaid or
so much thereof as may then remain unexpenced to my children William
Farra, James Farra, Samuel Farra, Thomas Farra, Reuben Farra, Richard
Farra, John Farra and Margaret Bain, to be equally divided among the
(with the exception that the said Sanuel Farra Jr. and John Farra
shall have deducted from thier shares the sum of thirty five dollars
each to be divided equally amoung the said William, James, Thomas,
Reuben, Richard & Margaret Bain) and to their heirs and assigns
forever.
And lastly I hereby consitute and appoint my wife said Rosanna Farra
and my said son William Farra to be the executors for this my last
will and testament revoking and annulling all former wills by me made
and satisfying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and
testament.
In Testimoney I have here unto set my hand and seal this sixteenth day
of January eighteen hundred and fifty one.

Signed published and declared by the above named Samuel Farra as and
for his last will and testament in presence of us who at his request
have signed as witnesses to the same.

The State of Ohio. Personally appeared in open court Jacob Bone and
Morgan County. Wilson C McConnell and made solemn oath that they are
the subscribing witnesses to the will of Samuel Farra deceased late of
said county that they subscribed said will in his presence and at his
request as witnesses there to and in the presence of each other that
they saw said decedant sign siad will, that at the time of signing the
same he was of sound and disposing mind and memory, free from all
legal constraints of lawful age, and that he then at the time of such
signing declared the same to be his last will and testament, and that
said Samuel Farra is since dead.
Sworn to and subscribed in open court this 24th Day of Jun 1851.
