Naturalization [September Term 1824]
Geore Russel [sic] a Native of England in Europe having presented satisfactory evidence to this court of his having made application to the Court of Common Pleas Muskingum county state of Ohio, and given notice of his intention to become a Citizen of the United States three years since and it appearing to the satisfaction of the court that he has resided five years within the United States and for the pirod and that during that time he has behaved as a good ____ citizen attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States and well disposed toward the good order and happiness of the same. The Oath of abjuration and allegiance were administered as well as the Oath to support the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the state of Ohio, whereupon it is ordered by the court that the said Russel be admitted to all rights & privileges of a citizen of the United States and that the Clerk of the Court make out a [certificate] to that effect on application of the said Russel.
