Will of Mary Kelly decd
In the name of God Amen
I Mary Kelly of Brook County Virginia do make and publish this may last will and testament.
Item first. I give and devise to my esteemed friend Thomas R. Kelly the farm in which he now lived situate in Brook County Virginia situated about four miles from Wellsbrough for and during his natural life. He however is not to use any more of the timber that is now on said farm than is necessary for the repairs and for fuel, and he is also to pay all taxes that may be assessed on said farm from time to time and further to pay the sum of six dollars annually to William Bozman of Morgan County Ohio.
Item Second I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Bozman wife of William Bozman of Morgan County Ohio the farm on which the said Thomas R. Kelly now lives from and after the death of the said Thomas R. Kelly and to her heirs and assigns forever. Said farm is situated in Brook County Virginia as aforesaid and contains about forty-three acres.
Item third. I give unto William Bozman of Morgan County Ohio one bead and beading sufficient for same. Also one burrow one cupboard one table one set of chairs and kitchen furniture and cupboard wan of all kinds that I now own.
Item fourth. I give all my wearing apparel to Elizabeth Bozman and Frances Steen to be equally divided between them.
Item fifth I give my saddle to Susannah Steen daughter of William & Francis Steen.
Item sixth I give my large looking glass to Kerrenhappock Steen daughter of William & Frances Steen.
Item Seventh. I give one three year old heifer to Rinalies Steen son of William and Frances Steen.
Item Eighth I give one bed and bedding to Wilks B. Richardson of Morgan County Ohio.
Item ninth. I nominate and appoint Lewis Hall executor of this my last will and testament hereby authorizing and empowering him to compromise adjust release and discharge in such manner as he may deem proper the depts. And claims due me and to pay any and all of my just debts and if there should be any money after all my debts is paid to go to William Bozman of Morgan County Ohio.
Item tenth. If Thomas R. Kelly should go away or move off the place to live anywhere else then and in that case it is to go and pass immediately to Elizabeth Bozman and to her heirs and assigns forever as her and their own property in all intents and purposes.
I do hereby revoke all former wills by me made. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 4th day of December AD 1841

The State of Ohio Morgan County Court of Common Pleas February Term AD 1842
Tuesday March 1st 1842
This day the Last will and testament of Mary Kelly late of this County desd was brought before the Court and was found by the oaths of John R. and William H. Bozman the two subscribing witnesses thereto and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the said Mary Kelly at the time of executing said will was of full age and of sound mind and memory and not under any restraint and that they subscribed said will as witnesses in her presence and at her request. It is ordered that said will and proof thereof be recorded and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that L. Hall {or Hale} the Executor named in said will declines to act as such on motion of ___ Evans it is ordered that letters of administration with the will annexed be annexed be granted Wilks B. Richardson and thereupon the said Wilks B. Richardson gave bond with James Watkins & William H. Bozman his sureity to the acceptance of the Court in the ______ of two hundred dollars _____ as the law ____.
