Will of Edward Bosman
Baltimore Orphans Court will book 6:96-97. Written 12 October 1796 and proved 6 September 1797.
In the name of God Amen, I Edward Bosman of Baltimore do make and pronounce this my last will & Testament in manner and form following to Wit
1st I give & bequeath unto my son James the sum of thirty pounds specie my silver watch one bed & furniture such as is commonly used to it also two draught horses & two colts,
2d I give & bequeath unto my son Wilkes one two years colt also one bed & furniture such as is commonly used to it
3d I give & bequeath unto my son William one mare which he hath commonly used & called his own
4th I give & bequeath unto my son Edward the sum of ten pounds spicie
5th I give & bequeath unto my daughter Sarah the wife of William Francis the sum of thirty pounds spicie
6th I give & bequeath unto my granddaughter Sarah, the daughter of Rosannah Smith one mare of three years old.
7th I give & bequeath unto my daughters Elizabeth, Karenhappuck & Mary each one gold ring of the value of three dollars each ring also one also one bed & furniture such as are commonly used to the beds to each of the said daughters
8th I give & bequeath unto my sons James William & Wilkes & unto my daughters Rosannah Elizabeth Karenhappuck & Mary all the remainder of my Estate to be between them & each of them equally divided, share and share alike.
Lastly I constitute and appoint my sons James & William executors to this my last will & testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand – this 12th day of October 1796

Baltimore County to wit on the 6th day of September 1797 came Greenbury Wyle and John Royston subscribing witnesses to the aforegoing last will and testament of Edward Bosman late of said County deceased and made oath on the holy Evangels __ that they did see the testator sign. this will that they heard him publish pronounce and declare the same to be his last Will & Testment that at the time of his so doing he was to the best of their apprehensions of sound disposing mind memory and understanding & that they subscribed their names as witness es to this Will in his presence at his request in the presence of each other sworn before me register of Wills for Balt Coty
