ILL FROM GRIP FOR NEARLY YEAR---John L. Cochran Succumbs Thursday Morning to Malady (22 Sep 1910)
Stricken with the grip during the holidays last year John L. Cochran aged 67, has remained an invalid until Thursday morning when at his home, 129 Court Alley, his death occurred at 6:30 o'clock. For years Mr. Cochran had been a valued employee of the Herdman Lumber company.
Besides the widow, Mrs. Julia Cochran, West main street, Mr. Cochran is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mary Cochran aged 88, of Toledo, three brothers, Samuel of McConnelsville and Charles and James of Toledo.
Mr. Cochran was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic church where a requiem high mass will be solemnized at 9 o'clock Saturday morning. Internment will be made in the St. Thomas cemetery. Friends will kindly omit flowers.
