Open House Monday Homors Joe Bozman
Mrs. Chloe Bozman of 828 Seborn avemue will entertain Monday night at open house starting at 6 o’clock. The affair will honor her son, Joe Loren Bozman, seaman 1 c, home on 27 day leave after serving 20 months in the South Pacific.
The evening is to be informal and no invitations will be issue, however all relatives, neighbors and friends are invited to call at the home and a special invitation is here given to the Blue Star mothers group.
Refreshments will be served during the evening to the callers and assisting Mrs. Bozman in the dining room will be her daughter, Miss Eva Bozman, Mrs. Paul Orwig and Mrs. Otto Herold, Jr., a bride of the past week. Seaman Bozman served as best man at the wedding of his friend Seaman Herold.
Navy colors, navy blue and white will predominate in all appointments and throughout the rooms of the home.
May out of town guests will be present. Bozman is the grandson of Hiram Rutherford of Caldwell and a nephew of Mrs. Woodie Rutherford also of Calwell and of Chester Rutherford of Barberton, who will be weekend guests at the home.
Seamon Bozman attended Lash high school but was graduated at Central high school in Columbus and at the time of his induction into the navy was employed at Curtis Wright Co. He serves as gunner on the battle ship “Blue Ghost” and will return to San Francisco, Calif., Tuesday. He has seen action in a number of battles and will have a display of souvenirs for the visitors to see.
At the register book for the guests will be Seaman Bozman’s brother, Robert Bozman.
