John Adams Dies; Retired Morgan Co. Merchant
McConnelsville John R. Adams, 73, of McConnelsville, retired merchant and ardent sportsman, died at 3 p m Thrusday Oct 6at his home of an apparent heart attack. Death was unexpected.
He was born Feb. 2, 1893, in McConnelsville, son of Chester and Lizzie Kuntz Adams.
Surviving are his widow Clara Meister Adams, one daughter, Mrs. Marion Chambers of Chapel Hill, N.C.; one son, Robert Adams with the US Embassy in Beruit, Lebanon; and five grandchildren.
Mr. Adams was a member of Corinthian Lodge 111, F&AM Scottish Rite, Valley of Cambridge, and the Presbyterian church.
