Mrs. Stella Durbin
McConnelsville – Mrs. Stella Durbin, 88, of Cleveland, a former McConnelsville resident died at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday in a Cleveland nursing home after a long illness. She had lived in McConnelsville until eight years ago when she moved to Cleveland.
Mrs. Durbin was born Dec. 28, 1874, a daughter of John B. and Stella Farra. Her husband, Alfred, died in 1916.
In McConnelsville she was a member of Trinity Methodist Chruch, was a past worthy matron of OES Valley Chapter and was a life member of New Era Club. She was a former employee of the telephone company and of a newspaper.
Surviving are a daughter Miss Margaret of Cleveland, two sons, Robert A. of Hope Sound, Fla. and John W. of Burbank, Calif, and a brother-in-law, Ray of Malta. A sister and a brother are deceased.
