Deed Daniel Shroyer to Frederick Hemminger

Know all men by these presents that I Daniel Shroyer of the County of Wood, Ohio In consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars in hand paid by Frederick Hemminger of the same place, have bargained and sold and , and [sic] do hereby grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Frederick Hemminger his heirs and assigns forever; the following premises, situate in the County of Wood, in the State of Ohio, and in the Township of Montgomery, and bounded and described as follows. Being the North East quarter of Section seven, in Township four, North of Range twelve. Beginning at the quarter post running East one hundred rods, thence South one hundred and sixty. Thence West one hundred rods, thence North one hundred and sixty rods to the place of Beginning. To have and to hold said premises with the appurtenances unto the said Frederick Hemminger his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Daniel Shroyer, for himself and heirs, doth hereby covenant with said Frederick Hemminger his heirs and assigns, that he is lawfully seized of the premises aforesaid, that the premises are free and clear from all encumbrance whatsoever and that he will forever Warrant and Defend the same with the appurtenances unto the said Frederick Hemminger, his heirs and assigns, against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever. The State of Ohio, Wood County ss. Before me W. R. Bryant a Justice of the Peace in and for said County, personally appeared the within named Daniel Shroyer and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the within conveyance to be his voluntary act and deed, this 5th day of March AD 1852.
