Naturalization of Joseph Barrow (certificate given)
Personally appeared in open Court Joseph Barrow and made oath that it is and has been for more than three years past his intention to become a citizen of the United States and that he renounces forever all allegiance and fidelity to every prince potentate State & sovereignty whatever and particularly all allegiance and fidelity to William the 4th King of the United Kingdoms of Great Britain and Ireland to whom he is a subject, and that he will support the Constitution of the United States. And it having been proven to the satisfaction of the Court by the oaths of Edwin Corner and Frances A. Barker that it has been the intention of the applicant for more than three years to become a citizen of the United States, and that the applicant is a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the constitution of the United States, and that he has been a resident of the U. S. for 5 years past, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same.
The court order that the said Joseph Barrow be admitted to all the rights and privileges of a citizen of the United States, and that the Clerk of the Court make out a certificate there of on application of Joseph Barrow.
