To the Probate Court of said County
Your petitioner respectfully represents that Walter N. Brent late a resident of the township of Morgan in said County died on or about the 30 day of December A. D. 1899, leaving an instrument in writing herewith produced, purporting to be his last Will and Testament.
That the said Walter N. Brent died leaving the following named persons his only next of kin, to wit:

This day an instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Walter N. Brent late of this County deceased, was produced and filed herein by N. C. Lukens together with an application to admit to probate and record. It is therefore ordered that notice be given according to law to all of the next of kin of said decedent residing in the State of Ohio of such filing and application and of the time of hearing thereon five days prior to such time of hearing Which the Court now fixes for January 11th 1900 at 9 o’clock A. M.

You are hereby commanded to notify Jennie Tomson, Kenneth Brent, and Nettie Brent giving at least five days notice, that on the 5th day of January A. D. 1900 an instrument of Writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Walter N. Brent late of Morgan Township, in said County, deceased, was produced in open Court, and an application to admit the same to probate was on the same day made in said Court, Said application will be for hearing before said Court on the 11th day of January A. D. 1900 at 9 o’clock A. M. Herein fail not, but of this writ, service thereon make due return.

The State of Ohio Morgan County ss.
Personally appeared in open Court Lee Humphrey who being first duly sworn to testify the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, in relation to the execution of the Last Will and Testament of Walter N. Brent deceased, deposes and says: That I was present at the execution of the instrument of writing now before me, bearing date the 14 day of April 1897, purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Walter N. Brent deceased, that I subscribed my name thereto as a witness at the request of said Testator and in the presence; that I saw said Testator sign said instrument at the end thereof, and heard him acknowledge the same to be his Will and that said Walter N. Brent at the time of executing the same was of full age, and of sound mind and memory and not under any restraint.

Will of Will admitted to Probate
This day this cause came on to be heard on the application to admit to probate the instrument of writing herebefore filed herein purporting to be the last will and testament of Walter N. Brent late of this County deceased, the exhibits and the testimony. And it appearing to the Court that all of the next of kin of said decedent residing in the State of Ohio have been duly served with notice in accordance with law and the former order of the Court, the Court now approves the time and manner of such service: And thereupon in open Court came Lee Humphrey and N. C. Lukens subscribing witnesses to said will who were duly sworn and examined touching the execution and attestation thereof and their testimony thereon reduced to writing sworn to and subscribed by them respectively, and filed therein. On consideration whereof the Court finds said instrument of writing is the last will and testament of Walter N. Brent late of this County deceased: that said will was duly executed and attested respectively; that at the time of its execution said testator was of full age, of sound mind and memory and not under any restraint. It is therefore ordered that said will be and it hereby is admitted to probate and that together with the exhibits entries and testimony so taken as aforesaid it be duly recorded.
