Will of Walter N. Brent
Know all men to whom these presents shall come that I Walter N. Brent being of full age and sound of mind, but realizing the uncertainty of life and desiring to direct what shall become of my property after my death, do make and publish this my last will and testament.
Item 1. I direct that the three acre (3) lot owned by me in Morgan Township, Morgan Co. Ohio bounded and described as follows,
Situated in the County of Morgan in the state of Ohio, and in the Township of Morgan being a part of the North West quarter of Section Eleven (11). Town ten (10) Range twelve (12), Beginning at the North West corner of lot No. 8 of McNabb’s out lot addition to McConnelsville O. at an Iron fpen in the Center of the wood, Thence south 3 degrees 18’ West along the west side of said lot (8) Eight thirty five and 52/100 (35.52) rods to a point about two feet east of a black walnut about 8 inches in diameter thence north 86 degrees 42’. West twelve and 32/100 (12.32) rods to a stone thence north 30 degrees 40’ east eight & 75/100 (8.75) rods to an iron pin in the center of the road thence south 40 ¾ degrees East ten (10) rods to the place of beginning.
Containing three (3) acres
Go to and be the absolute property of my dear mother Martha Jane Brent together with all my chattel property of whatsoever sort of name or kind. I hereby nominate & appoint A. J. Aber of Malta Township Morgan Co. O. as my administrator. I further direct that he A. J. Aber shall not be required to give any bonds. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & affixed my seal this fourteenth day of April 1897.
