Mrs. Conwell Is Called By Death Early Wednesday
Funeral Services Will Be Held at 2 O’clock Friday Afternoon
Mrs. Eleanor Conwell, widow of the late Ernest T. Conwell, former prominent merchandise broker, died at 3 o’clock Wednesday morning at Bethesda hospital, following a five weeks illness. She was 58 years of age.
She had been in declining health for a considerable time, but her condition was not regarded as critical until her recent confinement to Bethesda hospital.
Mrs. Conwell was a lifelong resident of Zanesville. Surviving are three brothers, Wheeler and Guy Crumbaker, Zanesville; a nephew, Perry Crumbaker, this city, and a niece, Miss Celesta Crumbaker, of Lancaster.
The body is now resting at the Hearing funeral home and will be removed Thursday noon to the residence of the brother, Guy Crumbaker, 626 Laurel avenue, where funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon. Rev. A. Stokes Watson, pastor of the Market Street Baptist church, will be in charge. Burial will be in Greenwood.
