Alvin Parmiter Dies In Florida
McConnelsville, O., Feb. 22
Alvin Parmiter, 55, a farmer of Meigsville township, Morgan county, who with his wife and two sons was spending the winter at Pinellas Park Florida, died at 4 o’clock Sunday morning following an illness of influenza and complications. He had been in failing health for some time and it had been hoped that the change of climate would benefit him.
The deceased was the son of Mrs. Bertha Bresse Parmiter of McConnelsville and the late William Parmiter. He was born in Morgan county and spent most of his life there.
A former game warden of Morgan county, Mr. Parmiter was a member of Corinthian lodge No. 111, F. & A. M. and attended the Methodist church.
Surviving are his widow, Rose Parmiter; two sons, Alvin Jr. and Calvin of the home; his mother and two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Crisman of Meigsville township and Mrs. Raymond Smith of McConnelsville.
Mr. Parmiter’s mother and her granddaughter, Mrs. John Fisher arrived at the Florida home last Thursday and were with him at the time of death.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
