Quit Claim Deed Thomas and Mary Johns(t)on to John Johnston

Know all men by these presents that we Thomas Johnson and Mary Johnson wife of the said Thomas Johnson of the County of Wood and State of Ohio in consideration of the sum of twenty five dollars in hand paid by John Johnson do hereby remise release and forever quit claim unto the said John Johnson his heirs and assigns forever all our title interest and estate legal and equitable in the following premises with the appurtenances situate in the County of Wood and State of Ohio and bounded and described as follows being the west half of the south east quarter and the south half of the south west quarter of section two (2) in township four (4) north of range eleven (11) containing one hundred and sixty acres ________ In testimony whereof we have set our hands and seals this 8th day of Feby. A.D. 1850.

The State of Ohio Wood County ss. Before me Samuel M. Chilcote a justice of the peace in and for said County personally appeared the above named Thomas Johnson and Mary his wife and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the above conveyance to be their voluntary act and deed and__ ____ Mary at the same time examined by me separate and apart from her said husband and the contents of said _____ being made known to her by me, she then declared that she did voluntarily sign seal and acknowledge the ____ and that she is still satisfied therewith this 8th day of Feby.
