In the Matter of the Will of John R. Bozman deceased.
___ the Honorable the Judge of said Court:
And now come Cleason B. Bozman and produces for admission to Probate in said Court the last Will and Testament of John R. Bozman, late a resident of the Township of Morgan in said County, who died on the 22nd day of March A. D. 1890.
Said Testator died leaving Margaret Bozman his widow and the following named persons, all of his next of kin resident in the State of Ohio.

Morgan County Ohio In the matter of proving the last Will of John R. Bozman, deceased.
State of Ohio
Morgan County ss Personally appeared in open Court John E. Hanna, who being duly sworn according to law says: That he has examined the signatures purporting to be the signatures of Jas. M. Gaylord as a subscribing witness to the last Will and Testament of John R. Bozman, deceased, also the signature of S. H. Fouts as a subscribing witness to the Codicil to said Will: that said Jas. M. Gaylord is now deceased, and said S. H. Fouts is an inmate of the Asylum for the Insane at Athens, Ohio, that affiant was well and intimately acquainted for forty year or more with said Gaylord and said Fouts and is familiar with the handwriting of each of them: that he has no doubt whatever as to the genuineness of the aforesaid signatures of said Gaylord and said Fouts.

State of Ohio Morgan County ss Personally appeared before me E. J. Brown, Probate Judge in and for said County John L. Cochran, who being first duly sworn says: that he has examined the signature purporting to be the signature of S. H. Fouts as a subscribing witness to the Codicil to the instrument offered for probate as the last Will of John R. Bozman late of Morgan County, deceased, that said S. H. Fouts is now an inmate of the Asylum for the Insane at Athens Ohio; that affiant has been acquainted for many years with said S. H. Fouts and is familiar with his handwriting: that said S. H. Fouts was employed as a bookkeeper for this affiant for a number of years: Affiant believes said signature is the genuine signature of said S. H. Fouts.

Morgan County ss. Personally appeared before me, E. J. Brown, Probate Judge, in and for said County R. B. Moore who being duly sworn according to law says: That he was will and intimately acquainted with Jas. M. Gaylord one of the subscribing witnesses to the last Will and Testament of John R. Bozman, now decease: that affiant is will and familiarly acquainted with the handwriting of said Jas. M. Gaylord: that said Jas. M. Gaylord is now deceased: that the signature now shown to affiant purporting to be the signature of said Jas. M. Gaylord as a subscribing witness to the last Will of John R. Bozman, decease, said Will bearing date August 2nd 1873 is as affiant believes the genuine signature of said Jas. M. Gaylord.

The State of Ohio
Morgan County ss. John E Hanna, being duly sworn and examined as a witness in the above entitled matter says: I was present at the execution of the instrument now shown to me, bearing date the 2nd day of August A. D. 1890 (sic) and offered for probate as the last Will and Testament of John R. Bozman, late of Morgan Township, in said County of Morgan deceased, and saw the said John R. Bozman, now deceased, sign and seal said instrument, and heard him acknowledge the same to be his last Will and Testament and I therefore, at his request, and in his presence, subscribed my name to the same as a witness. The said decedent, at the time of making, signing and sealing said instrument, was of full age, of sound mind and memory, and not under any restraint.

Morgan County ss Joshua T. crew, being duly sworn and examined as a witness in the above entitled matter, says: I was present at the execution of the instrument now shown to me, bearing date of 29 day of November, A.D. 1875, and offered for probate as the Codicil to the last Will and Testament of John R. Bozman, late of Morgan Township, in said County of Morgan, deceased, and saw the said John R. Bozman now deceased, sign and seal said instrument, and heard him acknowledge the same to be his Codicil to his last Will and Testament: and I thereupon at his request, and in his presence, subscribed my name to the same as a witness. The said decedent, at the time of making, signing and sealing said instrument, was of full age, of sound mind and memory, and not under any restraint.
