Dear Barbara,
Your note came on Sat. the day after Tim passed away. Evidently your father had written or called as a lovely planter arrived soon after. Is nice on the coffee table.
The only consolation I have is that he is at rest. Was very restless in the hospital but when I asked if he hurt anyplace, his answer was always no. He was irrational at times and always wanting to go home, which tore me apart. I had kept him here as long as I could.
Since you are interested in the family, I will see that you get the records he had been able to find. Perhaps your father can pick them up next summer.
Send the clippings to your folks as I forgot to put some in their letter.
He derived much joy from his hobby and he made many friends.
I am remaining here and am so glad we made the change when we did. When you have the chance, come to see me.
All good wishes to you and Jean.
Sincerely
Myrtle
