Mrs. Thompson, 85
Mrs. Fannie B. Thompson, 85, of 1080 Linden avenue, died this morning at her home following a lingering illness.
A native of McConnelsville, she had spent most of her life in this city. She was the daughter of Hugh and Mary Cochran.
Mrs. Thompson was a member of St. James Episcopal church.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Beulah Thompson of the home, art instructor in the city schools, and Mrs. Francis Rodgers of Pacific Palisades, Calif.,; two sons, Major Kenneth Thompson of San Antonio, Tex., and Dr. Hugh C. Thompson of Columbus; two brothers, William Cochran of Sanfrancisco and Francis W. Cochran of McConnelsville and three grandchildren, Marlene Thompson, Kenneth Thompson II and Judity Kay Thompson, all of San Antonio.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the residence with Rev. Duncan Weeks officiating. Burial, which will be private, will be in Greenwood. The body will be removed to the residence tomorrow from the Mader-Peoples funeral home.
