N. M. Brent, Esq.
We are pleased to learn that this gentleman has been chosen Sergeant-at-arms of the House of Representatives of Ohio. And we take pleasure in giving this information to his numerous friends, who will be glad to find that our townsman has settled without any fears of having to return home with his fingers in an uncouth place, (in the pecular language of some who take a special interest in his welfare.) At least his selection for that post under the present position of affairs is a complete settler for some of his creaking friends (?) hereabouts. - We hope no sharp remonstrance will be calculated against his present position.
