Biography

Edward Bozman was born about 1791 in Maryland.1 He and Jane Hindman were married on 18 April 1847 in Morgan County, Ohio.2 He and Nancy McCollum were married on 17 November 1853 in Morgan County, Ohio.3 He died on 1 October 1872 in Morgan County, Ohio.4
Edward was head of household on the 1820 US Census taken in Wellsburg, Brooke County, Virginia. The household consisted of with one male under 10, one male 26 to 45, one female 16 to 26, and one female 45 or older.5 Edward was head of household on the 1830 US Census taken in Brooke County, Virginia. The household consisted of with one male 10 to 15, one male 30 to 40, two females 5 to 10, and one female 30 to 40.6 He was a cooper in 1850.7 Edward and Jane appeared on the 1850 US Census recorded on 20 July 1850 in Morgan Township, Morgan County, Ohio, with Martha, John, and Margaret.8
