Rarey Shroyer was born on 15 February 1842 in Pike Township, Stark County, Ohio.1,2 He and Mary Margaret Aw were married on 21 April 1864 in Stark County, Ohio.3 He and Mary R. Stanton were married on 9 August 1896 in Bengal, Clinton County, Michigan.4 He died on 14 August 1905, at age 63, in St. Johns, Clinton County, Michigan.1
