Joshua Royston Bacon was born in 1858 in Maryland.1,2 He and Ella McC. Harrison were married. He died in 1882, at age ~24.2 He was buried in Oaklawn Cemetery, Baltimore, Maryland.3
Joshua was recorded on the 1870 US Census in the household of Elizabeth Bacon. Ella was probably her sister Martha4 Joshua and Ella appeared on the 1880 US Census recorded on 5 June 1880 in Baltimore, Maryland, as daughter and son-in-law of James and Maria Harris.4
