Leith Baird Wetzel was born on 21 June 1904 in Perrysburg, Wood County, Ohio.1,2 He and Florence Walker were married in 1934 in Ypsilanti, Washtenaw County, Michigan.3 He died on 7 August 1986, at age 82, in Tuscola County, Michigan.3 He was buried in Watertown Township Cemetery, Fostoria, Tuscola County, Michigan.3
