John Hughes was born in 1773 in Wales.2,3,4 He and Esther were married.1 He died in 1838, at age ~65, in Morgan County, Ohio.1,5 He was buried in McConnelsville Cemetery (McConnelsville), Morgan County, Ohio.6
John Hughes and Esther resided in Meigsville Township, Morgan County, Ohio, from the 1820s until their deaths.7,8,9 John was head of household on the 1810 US Census taken in Brooke County, Virginia.
