Biography

Hannah Cunningham was born about 1805 in Pennsylvania.2 She and John Stinson were married on 2 January 1823 in Muskingum County, Ohio.1
John and Hannah was deeded property by John S. Parkingson with a mortgage held by the seller on 17 February 1835 in Muskingum County, Ohio. The property was mortgaged with the seller John S. Parkinson3 John and Hannah deeded the property they had purchesed in 1846 to Jesse Keen on 14 March 1837 in Muskingum County, Ohio. sold property to Jesse Keen. This was the same property they had purchased in 18354 John and Hannah appeared on the 1850 US Census recorded on 12 September 1850 in Township 10N 3 E, Knox County, Illinois, with Susan, William, Mary, Rosanna, John, Virginia, and James.2 She moved to Iowa about 1855.5 She and John Stinson were enumerated on the census of 1856 in Warren Township, Lucas County, Iowa.5 John and Hannah appeared on the 1860 US Census recorded on 18 August 1860 in Bourbon County, Kansas, with John and James.6 John and Hannah appeared on the 1870 US Census recorded on 13 September 1870 in Lincoln Township, Putnam County, Iowa, with Alfred Stinson.7

Susan Stinson was born on 22 September 1830 in Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio.1,2 She was married on 25 January 1852 in Knox County, Illinois.3 She died on 9 May 1922, at age 91, in South Haven, Sumner County, Kansas.2 She was buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, South Have, Sumner County, Kansas.2
Susan Stinson was also known as Elizabeth Stinson.
