He lived in 1917 in Eaton Rapids, Eaton County, Michigan.6 He was a pastor in 1917 in Brookfield Township, Eaton County, Michigan.6 He registered for the World War I draft 5 June 1917, in Brookfield, Eaton County, Michigan.6 He was a Methodist Episcopal clergyman in 1930.4 William and Miriam appeared on the 1930 US Census recorded on 22 April 1930 in 209 East Ash Street, Marion, Ingham County, Michigan, with their two daughters.4 He was pastor in 1945 in Burton Height Methodist Church, Kent County, Michigan.7 He was Executive Director of the Grand Rapids Council of Churches about 1958.7
