Biography

James Clendenen was born about 1789 in Pennsylvania.1 He and Charlotte Hussey were married on 7 January 1824 in Monroe County, Illinois.2
James and Charlotte deeded lot 67 in Malta to William Sherwood on 19 August 1831 in Morgan County, Ohio.3 James purchased 41.43 acres by land patent in Morgan County, Ohio, on 5 October 1835, .4 James and Charlotte deeded 41.43 acres to Absolom Willey on 17 August 1836 in Morgan County, Ohio. 45 James was head of household on the 1840 US Census taken in Waterford, Washington County, Ohio. The household consisted of one m ale under 5, one male 5 to 9, one male 10 to 14, one male 30 to 40, one female 5 to 9, and one female 30 to 40.6 He was a wheelright in 1850.7 James and Charlotte appeared on the 1850 US Census recorded on 31 July 1850 in Waterford Township, Washington County, Ohio, with their children Mariah and Clemons. Also listed and then crossed off were James Clenenden 24 and Homan Clenenden 22. and Wm. Harman 17. Also listed and then crossed off were James Clenenden 24 and Homan Clenenden 227 He was a wheelright in 1860.1 James and Charlotte appeared on the 1860 US Census recorded on 11 June 1860 in Jackson Township, Noble County, Ohio.8

Biography

Jacob Siverling was born on 17 June 1817 in Venango Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania.1 He and Sarah C. Kepler were married.1 He and Barbara Kleckner were married on 7 January 1839.1
He was a farmer in 1850.2 Jacob and Barbara appeared on the 1850 US Census recorded on 16 September 1850 in Venango Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, with Mary E., Sarah, Benjamin, Daniel, Thomas, 93 year old Barbra. Barbra was probably Barbara's mother and she was probably in her 702 Jacob and Sarah appeared on the 1860 US Census recorded on 16 June 1860 in Venango Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, with Sarah, Benjamin, Daniel, and Barbara.
