John S. Michaels was born on 10 July 1842 in Morgan County, Ohio.1,2,3 He and Rebecca Ann Morris were married on 25 December 1867 in Harrison County, Ohio.2,4 He died on 21 December 1935, at age 93, in Warren Township, Belmont County, Ohio.2 He was buried on 24 December 1935 in Northern Cemetery (Barnesville), Belmont County, Ohio.2
